FUTURELAND is an speculative documentary produced by MA students at the Centre for Research Architecture cohort (2017-2018). Through group fieldwork at the Port of Rotterdam, individual and collaborative writing, the film orientates around the site of the port to explore the ubiquity of the logistical condition.

FUTURELAND was also presented at Het Nieuwe Instituut & La Biennale di Venezia, November 2018.

The project is part of the Logistical Nightmares programme, that explores logistics as a model for organising social life and politics at a global scale. Hosted by Lorenzo Pezzani and Susan Schuppli, the programme featured guests such as Charmaine Chua, Stephan Helmreich, Giorgio Grappi, Heather Anne Paxson and Victor Sanz.
